Amazing Acorn Squash

We picked up some organic acorn squash at the last Farmer’s Market here in Visalia, and I fixed it for dinner last night – steamed in the microwave with salt, pepper, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.  It was so sweet that it didn’t even need the brown sugar!  I’ve washed and dried the seeds and will be planting them in my garden this summer.  I hope the offspring are just as sweet and delicious as the parent plant!
